Scavenger Hunt for Spring
One of the ways I increase the time of our nature walks is with nature related activities. Many of the activities primarily focus on increasing their observation skills and becoming more aware of their surroundings.
Children learn about the world around them through observation, curiosity and discovery. Scavenger hunts are a fun and versatile way for children to spend more time outdoors and expand on their observation skills. They can encourage children to find their own nature discoveries and get really excited with their findings.
I only recommend introducing this printable when your child(ren) might need some extra encouragement while on a nature walk or spending time outdoors. Otherwise, allowing your child(ren) to freely explore is always the better option for their development.
